Prove which campaigns drive revenue in Adobe, not the ad platform's math
Every ad platform reports its own campaigns in the best possible light, using its own attribution math, which is why Google, Meta, and other channel numbers never add up to total revenue. Webclat builds campaign classification and cross-channel attribution inside Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics, so credit is assigned from one neutral, cross-channel view instead of each platform's self-reported story. Budget decisions get made on the business's own numbers, not the vendor's.
The situation
Google Ads, Meta, and our email platform each claim credit for the same sales, and added together their numbers are nowhere close to what we actually sold.
The pain
Nobody can confidently defend a budget shift when every source of truth is a platform grading its own homework.
What we implement
We build campaign classifications and cross-channel attribution inside Adobe Analytics or Customer Journey Analytics - multi-touch attribution - so credit for a sale is assigned from one neutral system that sees every channel, not from each platform's own math.
What you get
- One attribution view that adds up to actual revenue, instead of every channel double-counting.
- Budget decisions backed by the business's own data, not a vendor's self-reported number.
- A defensible answer when a channel's real contribution gets questioned.
Illustrative, not a measured result: a brand splitting spend across five channels might find one channel gets more credit under a neutral view than any single ad platform gave it - the direction of the shift depends entirely on the actual customer paths.
FAQ
Why don't ad platform numbers add up to total revenue?
Each platform attributes on its own model and lookback window and has every incentive to count a conversion it merely touched. Add every platform's self-reported total together and you get more credit claimed than sales that happened, because the same sale gets counted more than once.
Does Adobe attribution replace the ad platforms' own reporting?
It doesn't replace their operational reporting - you still need each platform for campaign management - but it replaces them as the source of truth for cross-channel credit. Adobe sees the full path across channels; a single ad platform only sees its own touchpoints.
